European Day of Languages is celebrated on 26 September but since it was Sunday we decided to mark it the next week. This year's European Day of Languages was all about emotions so pupils chose one emotion and did a little research to find out how the chosen emotion is called in different European languages. They found worlds for emotions in English, Italian, French, German, Russian, Turkish, Danish, Norwegian, Greek and many other European languages. They also used Cyrillic letters for those languages that use it.
They had lots of fun and learnt many new words as well as their pronunciation.
On 7 October we visited one of Crotian national parks which is also the oldest one. We had a lot of fun on the way there...as well as on the way home...At first the weather was cloudy but it wasn't raining. However, our luck didn't last...During the second half of our sightseeing the rain started...and we hurried to the bus...Some of us got wet more than others.
Despite the weather we had the best time ever!
P.S. It was also our teacher's birthday and our present to her was a folk song wishing her to live until she's 105 and then all over again!
