On Tuesday, January 24th the reporters from the Rijeka studio of the Croatian national television came to Moravice to meet the students who are involved in the penpal project. They are the same students who were involved in making the first set of postcards from Moravice based on amazing photographs by Natalija Dokmanović. The reporters interviewed the English teacher who is behind the whole project as well as two students. Filip Šterle and Samanta Trbović spoke beautifully about the project, postcards and 'the beauty we live in' (Samanta's words translated into English).
The piece was broadcast on Dnevnik on HRT 1 at noon on January 28th, 2018. Many people saw it and all the reactions were positive and encouraging as for that project and for many more to come.
Moravice may be geographically small but in every other aspect, we are enormous!
On 7 October we visited one of Crotian national parks which is also the oldest one. We had a lot of fun on the way there...as well as on the way home...At first the weather was cloudy but it wasn't raining. However, our luck didn't last...During the second half of our sightseeing the rain started...and we hurried to the bus...Some of us got wet more than others.
Despite the weather we had the best time ever!
P.S. It was also our teacher's birthday and our present to her was a folk song wishing her to live until she's 105 and then all over again!
